New Photoshoot: Home Invasion
It's the darkness. It has me.
Description:
A myriad of elements inspired the "Home Invasion" photoshoot. First is the season itself with the richness and intensity of the 2012-2013 Fall Winter collections and runways. The second factor was the current influx and rise of paranormal, fantasy and horror genres in TV and film. Thirdly, the annual Halloween occasion brought a timely response. And last but not the least, realizing that the project needed another dimension, a personal adaptation and ode to the first season of the critically acclaimed TV horror drama series, American Horror Story (currently premiered its second season on FX), brought a sense of depth and character to the images.
The storyline and theme revolves around the tagline: "It's the darkness. It has me." which was spoken by the character Violet (played by Taissa Farmiga) in Season 1 of American Horror Story.
